Research

My research focuses on the behavior of individuals and households in family and work contexts, as well as the impact of family-related policies.

Current research projects examine issues such as:

  • Microsociology and microeconomics of individual and household behavior in employment and family contexts
  • Interdependencies and path dependencies of employment and family trajectories over the life course
  • Time use and division of labor within the household
  • Income inequality and poverty risks, particularly in gender comparisons
  • Evaluation of family-related measures
  • Costs and benefits in child and youth welfare
